iciHaiti - Kenscoff Lycée : Training on actions that can save lives
From Friday November 10 to Sunday November 12, 2023, the Kenskoff National High School welcomes professionals from the Mobile First Aid Unit (UMPS) in Haiti and the Motorized Medical Emergency Service (SUMMOC), as part of a series of training on "Actions that can save lives".

During this training session, around 300 students divided into 5 workshops participated and expressed their appreciation through their interactions with the trainers.

Aglamenton Laguerre, Director of the high school, welcomes the Ministry's initiative to train young people to provide first aid in the event of problems at school and in their community. An activity that the manager wishes to carry out within the high school for the students.

Ricardo Jean-Pierre, General Coordinator of UMPS-SUMMOC stressed that training is of civic importance in the face of conditions of widespread violence and the risk of natural disasters which threaten the lives of people in Haiti.

Let's remember that 50 schools in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince will benefit from this Program which began last Friday, October 20. The first phase of this training will end on December 2, 2023 and managers intend to reach the 10 departments of the country with this training.
