iciHaiti - FLASH : The Pope has emerged from the most critical phase, but his prognosis remains reserved

In its bulletin of Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Holy See announced that the clinical condition of the Holy Father continued to improve. Pope Francis devoted the morning to respiratory physiotherapy, alternating high-flow oxygen therapy with the respiratory mask, and to additional examinations. "His mood was good," the bulletin states.
In the afternoon, after another physiotherapy session, he meditated in the chapel of the private apartment on the 10th floor of the hospital, and received the Eucharist. Pope Francis then devoted himself to his professional activities.
The Pope has emerged from the most critical phase, but given the complexity of the clinical picture, additional days of clinical stability are necessary for the reserved prognosis to be lifted.
In the bulletin of this Friday morning, the Holy See indicated "As in previous days, the night passed calmly and the Pope is resting."
