iciHaiti - Open day for young representatives of sixty organizations
With a view to strengthening its close relations with young people, the Digicel Foundation, following the invitation launched on December 4, received this week some sixty young representatives of various organizations, selected from among the many organizations that have expressed their interest. to participate in this open day which combined: exchanges, reflection workshops, sharing of information, experiences and knowledge.

The Digicel Foundation remains aware of the importance of involving young people in the process of change in any society. Therefore, the key word of this day was "Engagement".

To what extent and by what means can the young population engage in the development of Haiti ? A question that was at the heart of the debates and led three workshops at the end of which three initiatives emerged.

The big surprise of the day was the announcement of funding for one of these initiatives by the Digicel Foundation. Thus, the three groups concerned were invited to deepen their reflections and perfect their ideas in order, in the near future, to present their ideas before a jury which will be established by the Foundation and which will decide on the project which will be selected, financed and carried out.

In addition, the representatives of Digicel, of the Council as well as the employees of the Foundation discussed their daily work, the best practices to be adopted in different fields with these 60 young people, who learned and took the opportunity to address questions to the speakers.
