iciHaiti - OIM : Donation of computer and office equipment
As part of the project "Multi-country cross-border security program in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica" funded by the Delegation of the European Union in Haiti, the International Organization for Migration (IOM - Haiti) recently organized a donation ceremony of computer and office automation equipment to the National Committee for the Fight Against Human Trafficking (CNLTP) in Haiti in order to support it in carrying out its mission.

Surrounded by the Representative of the OIM, the Program Manager of the European Union and the Central Director of the Administrative Police in Haiti, the President of the CNLTP was given equipment that will serve both the Central Committee and the sub-committees in the regions.

This donation, which aims to strengthen the capacities of the CNLTP at the national level in order to provide assistance to victims of human trafficking throughout the country, comes in addition to the holding of training sessions on the investigation and prosecution cases of human trafficking at the four official crossing points of Ouanaminthe, Belladère, Malpasse and Anse-à-Pitres, carried out by IOM in collaboration with the CNLTP, the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) through the Brigade Protection of Minors (BPM) and the International Association of Women Judges (CHAIFEJ).
