On Thursday, March 13, 2025, in Cap-Haïtien, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP-Haiti), through the Justice Support and Fight Against Impunity Program (PAJLI), officially launched the model jurisdiction dedicated to combating gender-based violence (GBV).

A major step toward more accessible and equitable justice for victims.

With 92 participants, this event marks a significant step forward in the prevention of GBV and the improvement of its judicial management. This project receives financial support from Norway and is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, the Superior Council of the Judiciary, the Ministry for the Status of Women and Women's Rights, the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH), and the Embassy of Canada in Haiti.

Objectives :
- Strengthen the fight against impunity for gender-based violence; - Improve investigations, prosecutions, and adjudications of GBV cases;
- Promote a multidisciplinary approach for effective care
