iciHaiti - PNH : «Operation dislodge the bandits and clear the streets»
As part of the "Operation dislodge the bandits and clear the streets", police staff from several units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) intervened this week on the site of Cité Doudoune, a district located not far from the downtown to hunt down bandits, demolish houses used as hiding places to hide weapons and ammunition.

Bandits fired on the police who returned fire, in the firefight several bandits were killed, injured and others fled.

The police deployed to regain control of the situation at the Marassa crossroads and Tabarre bridge, to prevent the gangs from continuing to intimidate citizens who want to live in peace and tranquility.

Divisional Inspector Garry Desrosiers, Spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) informed that police officers supported by the engineering corps of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H) continue to track down the bandits, stressing that barricades erected in several neighborhoods were removed.

These operations will continue in various neighborhoods where the bandits believe they can act with impunity...
