iciHaiti - Social : Civil protection helps victims who fled armed conflicts 30/04/2022 11:28:47 More than 200 food kits, at least 100 sanitary kits and more than 600 gallons of water, including sleeping bags have been distributed to around 100 families. A dozen volunteers and members of the municipal civil protection committee of Tabarre were mobilized to ensure this first distribution. Moreover, given the difficulties of access to the confrontation zones, a meeting was held between the representatives of civil protection, the Mayor of Tabarre and her team to determine the methods of distribution, to ensure that all victim families are really reached by this aid during the next distributions. After identifying the families who had to abandon their homes in the neighborhoods of Butte Boyer, Clercine and Croix des Missions, civil protection plans to increase distribution activities in order to provide assistance and protection in accordance with its mission.
