iciHaiti - UniQ : (D-1) 2nd edition of the Festival of Heritage, Tourism and Creativity...
On the sidelines of the International Day for Monuments and Sites, celebrated each year on April 18, Quisqueya University (UniQ) located at 218, Ave Jean Paul II (Turgeau), will host Saturday April 16, 2022, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., the 2nd edition of the Festival of Heritage, Tourism and Creativity which will take place around the theme "Patrimwà n peyi n, se fyète n!"

According to Eunice Cincir, General Coordinator of the Initiative of Haitian Women in Tourism (IFTH), the objective of this initiative is to contribute effectively to the enhancement of our sites and monuments. This festival also intends to awaken the sense of patriotism and the sense of belonging among the Haitian; safeguard our tangible and intangible heritage; restore our customs, our traditions and our culture; encourage the promotion of heritage, natural, tourist and historical sites and monuments…

Activities planned for this day :

- Tribute to emblematic figures;
- Conference-debates;
- Sale-signature of works;
- Final of the National Essay and Eloquence Contest on Haitian Built Heritage and-eloquence-on-heritage.html;
- Cultural events;
- Craft Fair;
- Tasting of local products;
- Traditional games;
- Exhibitions.
