(April 11, 2012- April 11, 2022), the National Police Academy (Académie Nationale de Police - ANP) celebrated its 10th anniversary of training and development of middle and senior managers of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

It was around the theme "Police, Press, Population : a trilogy in the fight against crime" that the leadership of the ANP celebrated its 10th anniversary during the ceremony attended by Me Berto Dorcé, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Frantz Elbé the Acting Director General of the PNH, members of the High Command and representatives of international partners including the Canadian Ambassador to Haiti, Sébastien Carrière and the Director of the INL in Haiti, Jennifer Megy.

A conference-debate was organized at the Pavilion of the National Police Academy with a view to drawing up a contingency plan to serve as a roadmap for the High Command during implementations related to the fight against crime. Historian Georges Michel and journalist-writer Pierre Raymond Dumas made up the panel.

In a friendly atmosphere punctuated by music and traditional dance, the Divisional Commissioner Rigaud Harington, Director of the ANP, was delighted with the performances of the academy which earned him the merit of being today among the best in the Caribbean.

For his part, Commander Elbé, insisted on the importance of the support provided by international partners in the framework of the strengthening and modernization of the National Police Academy (ANP).

"Honor and Merit" plaques were awarded to several personalities, in particular, the Acting Director General Frantz Elbé and the Inspector General Francène Moreau, for their wise leadership as well as their unwavering support for the ANP.
