Thanks to an investigation by the Research and Investigation Brigade, a team from the Minors Protection Brigade arrested Georges Alain Degand in Théodat village (commune of Tabarre) for raping minors, following a complaint filed by the father of one of the victims.

Georges Alain Degand, blind, is accused of sexual assault, rape and incitement to debauchery to the detriment of 6 minors aged between 12 and 14 years.

According to the first information, Georges Alain Degand would have had his eyes gouged out by a furious population when he was young, following a rape perpetrated on a young victim.
