The Initiative of Haitian Women in Tourism (IFTH) and Sco Tour Haiti (STH), unveiled the names of the 9 finalists selected for the second round of the 2nd Edition of the essay and eloquence contest on Haitian built heritage on the theme "Revalorization of Forts Jacques and Alexandre, I'm committed !" https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-36065-icihaiti-registrations-2nd-edition-of-the-national-essay-and-eloquence-contest.html

  • Samentha MOÏSE (NS4/ Sainte Thérèse de Pétion-Ville congregational school);
  • Josemarline GEDEON (Institute for Advanced Business and Economic Studies (IHECE);
  • Jesula Chrismène ALEXANDRE (Public University of South-East Jacmel (UPSEJ));
  • Naseleine AMISCA (IERAH/ISERSS- State University of Haiti);
  • Excerne SALOMON (Faculty of Human Sciences/ State University of Haiti);
  • Guerdie CLORISTIN (Hotel School of Haiti / Faculty of Human Sciences / State University of Haiti);
  • Brandly LOUIS JEUNE (IERAH/ISERSS- State University of Haiti);
    9. Revarold VALLON (Faculty of Human Sciences/ State University of Haiti).

Intended for schoolchildren in terminale II and university students, the first phase of the competition was devoted to the writing of a 2 to 3-page text on the theme and the second phase will consist of the oral presentation of the text during the grand finale which will reveal the three winners.

The prizes will be awarded on Saturday April 16, 2022, at Quisqueya University (UniQ) on the sidelines of the 2nd edition of the Heritage, Tourism and Creativity Festival as part of the International Day for Monuments and Sites, also called World Heritage Day, celebrated annually on April 18.

The jury is made up of three seasoned professionals : Sabry ICCENAT, Marjory LOUIS-MARD and Vladimir PREDVIL.
