iciHaiti - Gangs : Violent confrontation in Mariani at least 10 dead 08/03/2022 08:13:12
Thanks to the intervention of the police, their attempt failed. 7 people were killed (6 residents and 1 off-duty police officer) in the clashes between members of the Village-de-Dieu and Grand-Ravine gangs and those of the "Tibwa" gang who defended their territory dearly . In addition, 3 bandits were killed during the exchange of fire with the police and 6 other bandits were arrested. On Saturday the police were looking for several bandits still present in Mariani.
