"Ambassador Manuel enjoyed an excellent appreciation within the community in Mexico for his humanism, his friendliness, his willingness to help and his generosity towards his compatriots. After the earthquake of January 12, 2010, Haiti received a lot of support from the population and the Mexican Government in favor of the victims of the earthquake, thanks to its dedication. The Embassy of Haiti takes this opportunity to present its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, in particular, to his wife Mrs. Cristina Maricel Dieguez de Manuel, to his children : Anaïse, Elodie, Rafael Emiliano and Sebastian Alejandro. Robert Manuel's funeral will be sung this Saturday, March 5, 2022 in Guatemala City. That his soul rests in peace !"
