iciHaiti - Education : Fake scholarships but real scammers
The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) informs the population, in general, and the educational community, in particular, that scammers have created fake Facebook and Twitter accounts, in the name of Minister Nesmy Manigat in view to take money from people.

These scammers promise scholarships and other facilities in order to deceive the vigilance of those concerned while claiming a contribution in return. Consequently, extreme caution is recommended to all Internet users in the face of any request directed in this direction.

The Ministry has already informed the competent authorities and an investigation is underway to identify these crooks in order to prevent them from making new victims.

The Ministry takes this opportunity to specify that the personal Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of Minister Manigat are certified by a "blue check". It is therefore recommended to check carefully to avoid falling into the traps of scammers.
