iciHaiti - Covid : New donation of vaccines to Haiti

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) said on Tuesday it had delivered 100 million doses of vaccines against Covid-19 to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean as part of joint efforts with the Covax mechanism created at the beginning of the pandemic so that everyone has equitable access to vaccination.
On Tuesday, PAHO delivered 151,200 doses of "Spikevax" vaccines from Moderna laboratories to Haiti, donated by Spain.
PAHO indicates that 63% of the population of Latin America and the Caribbean has already been vaccinated against Covid-19, but that vaccination remains uneven : 14 countries and territories have not yet vaccinated 40% of their population and Haiti is the least vaccinated country.
Status of vaccination in Haiti :
