iciHaiti - Social : Fake trips, fake visas 7 Haitians scammed by a Haitian
7 Haitians including among others : Hippolite Claudy (25 years old), Evans Occelin (27), Jacques Jefferson (25), Christophe Claude (45), and a 14 year old teenager, were caught in the net of a Haitian woman scammer Mrs. Jean Jacques Marie Suzette (36),

According to the complainants, this woman had organized a trip for them from Las Américas International Airport in the Dominican Republic and had charged them sums of between 7,000 and 8,000 US dollars each, including visas for Colombia and Guatemala.

Let's recall that foreigners regularly travel with visas to Guatemala, Panama and Mexico, then from there they try to cross the border points to enter the United States illegally with the help of smugglers.

The 7 victims discovered that they had been deceived and that their visas that they had purchased were fake when they presented themselves at the airline Avianca to travel to Colombia and Guatemala.

After noting that the visas were fake, the Haitians warned the authorities and stayed several hours in the terminal waiting for the arrival of Mrs. Jean Jacques Marie Suzette who was arrested, accused of forgery and fraud, by members tourist police intelligence, at the airport during a lightning operation.

Our compatriots declared to the authorities that the woman had organized a trip abroad for them, which turned out to be false, like the visas... In addition to the sums already defrauded, she would have claimed another 5,000 dollars from them for additional expenses.
