iciHaiti - Economy : Economic intelligence system project of the Ministry of Commerce

An important meeting was held recently at the conference room of the Office of the National Authorizing Officer of the European Development Fund (BONFED) within the framework of the presentation of the Economic Intelligence System Project of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI) to the relevant public institutions and chambers of commerce and industry.
The main objective of this project is to strengthen Haiti's capacity to exploit the opportunities of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) by seeking to increase awareness of the markets of member countries in Haiti and provide better online access to the business information.
Objectives :
- The establishment of an economic and commercial intelligence unit;
- Strengthening Haiti’s capacity through the MCI to integrate the regional common market;
- Strengthening the capacity of Haitian economic actors in foreign trade, especially with CARICOM.
