iciHaiti - Honduras : 15 Haitian citizens arrested for illegal transit 03/04/2021 10:11:21
At the time of their arrest, Haitians did not hold any identification document. Accused of illegal transit on Honduran territory, they were handed over to the National Institute of Migration (INM) where they are detained pending their repatriation to Haiti... The driver of the minubus was arrested for investigation, accused of smuggling migrants. Since the beginning of the year 2021 more than 2,000 foreigners, not many Haitians, have been arrested and detained for having transited illegally through Honduras. PI/ IH/ iciHaiti
