iciHaiti - DR : 224 illegal Haitians returned to Haiti

Earlier this week, members of the Dominican army arrested 224 foreigners of Haitian nationality who were in an irregular migratory situation in Dominican territory.
192 men and 32 women were sent back to Haiti by the Dajabón border post.
The army said migration control operations would intensify in order to reduce the entry into Dominican territory of illegal Haitians at the border.
