iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Decree imposing traffic and parking bans
The Cap-Haitien Municipal Commission issued a decree imposing traffic and parking bans on Boulevard du Cap-Haitien, under penalty of fines.

Extract from the municipal decree :

"[...]
Considering that the Town hall can prohibit, by reasoned decree, the access of certain ways or certain portions of ways or certain sectors of the commune to the vehicles whose circulation on these ways or in these sectors is likely to compromise either the peace public, or the mental safety of the public, the Municipal Commission of Cap-Haitien ORDERS :

Article 2: The parking of all types of vehicles and the establishment of all garages and open-air vehicle washing facilities are strictly prohibited on the boulevard, at the level of the historic city center, as well as in the two entrances to the city ​​of Cap-Haitien under penalty of seeing them towed purely and simply at the owner's expense;

Article 5: Any heavy goods vehicle (containers, trailers, scales etc.) caught in the city center between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. will be fined 5,000 gourdes.

Article 6: any vehicle (trucks, cars, containers, scales, trailers) caught in the city center parked in the aforementioned areas in article 3 will be towed and will receive a fine ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 gourdes. "
