Tuesday, December 15, Ambassador of Haiti to Washington Bocchit Edmond presented his credentials to Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) as Representative ai of the Permanent Mission of Haiti to the OAS.
Ambassador Edmond took the opportunity to reiterate the will of the Haitian Government to work to strengthen democracy in Haiti and to work in close collaboration with the OAS on hemispheric issues.
"I received Bocchit Edmond's credentials with the OAS. We look forward to working together for the strengthening of democracy and development in Haiti and throughout the hemisphere," said Luis Almagro after the ceremony.
