iciHaiti - Digicel Foundation : Two new school construction sites
Last week, the Digicel Foundation began construction at the College Frères Unis de Ravine Sable and after its partnership with "Hope For Haiti" it renewed its cooperation with the Spiritans for the construction of the École Presbytérale de Poirier in the commune of Saint-Marc.

The United Brothers College of Ravine Sable will be financed and enlarged by the Foundation. The institution will benefit from 4 classrooms, an executive room, a room for a computer laboratory and of course a modern sanitary block. This College has been serving the area for 20 years and operates thanks to the support of "Hope For Haiti"

The Foundation is also in the process of building the Poirier Presbyteral School in Bocozelle, fifth municipal section of the city of Saint Marc. This school has 9 classrooms, an administrative block, a sanitary block, a fence and a tank. According to forecasts, the beginning of 2021 should mark a new era for the students of this educational institution. It should be noted that the Presbyteral School of Poirier operates under the aegis of the Spiritans who, since their start in the country in 1853, have actively participated in strengthening the educational sector through literacy training or the establishment of schools.

Remember that for 13 years, the Digicel Foundation has already funded the construction of 182 schools for the benefit of more than 60,000 students.
