Minister Henriquez declared that the whole country was proud of this son, because he did everything to make our two-tone float as high as possible. What has earned him, moreover, to win several international prizes: 2020 : "Canadian Folk Music Awards" Artist of the Year, Best World Music Album of the Year. Independent Music Award in New York for Best World Traditional Song of the Year. 2019 : "Félix ADISQ Award" for the Best Music Album in the world of the year. "Juno Award" (Canada Grammy) Best World Music Album of the Year "Académie Française Charles CROS Coup de Cœur Prize" for Best Original Global Album of the Year.
