iciHaiti - Diaspora : The Consulate General of Haiti in Paris, gets closer to Haitian associations
The Haitian community of Île-de-France is made up of a set of leaders whose objectives and projects are aimed only at the well-being of compatriots and the development of Haiti.

The new Consul Wedlyne François Pierre, who does not fail to salute the remarkable work of these leaders whenever the opportunity arises, is convinced that only a good collaboration between the Consulate and the actors of the Haitian community can guarantee the advancement of projects of the mission for the benefit of compatriots.

Also, with a view to getting closer to fellow countrymen and getting to know the leaders of the community, Consul François Pierre has already started a series of meetings.

In this context, she met on November 25 in the presence of Consul Henrilus Joseph Ginius and Vice-Consul Léon Patrick Cauvin with the Association Haiti pour l'Avenir (AHPA) represented by Emeline Joseph, President, Marie Abelard, Treasurer and Pierre-Louis Patrick, Communication Manager. Remember that the AHPA's mission is to come to the aid of poor families and out-of-school children.

Given the important role played by the leaders of the Haitian community in France in general and in Paris in particular, Ms. François Pierre intends to continue these meetings included in her work calendar in order to further explore the strategies that can guarantee the collective interest.
