On the morning of November 17 in the Los Médico sector, in Dajabón in the Dominican Republic, members of the Specialized Corps for Land Border Security (CESFRONT) intercepted a white DAIHATSU truck, registration L 011567 which was transporting 140 lots of clothing carefully packaged contraband from Haiti.

Brigadier General Josè Manuel Duran Ynfante, Director of CESFRONT, clarified that the goods and the truck were seized and sent to the public prosecutor of the judicial district of Dajabón, for the corresponding purposes. While the driver identified as García López was sent to the prosecutor's office for legal purposes.

No details were provided on the owner of this merchandise, nor on the location in the Dominican Republic where the truck was going.
