iciHaiti - Education : End of additional work at the Argentine Bellegarde National School
The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) has expressed satisfaction with the completion of the additional work at the Argentine Bellegarde National School.

Recall that this school, located at Ruelle Vaillant at Avenue John Brown, (Port-au-Prince) had been rebuilt in 2018 by FAES, with funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) through the Support Program for the Restructuring of the Education Sector (ASS).

These works, carried out according to the standard plans of the Ministry of National Education in compliance with earthquake and anticyclonic standards, consisted of the construction of 11 classrooms (9 AF and 2 pre-school), an administrative block, a room technical, a housing for caretaker, a kitchen, a storage room and the raising of part of the wall of the existing fence and the erection of a side wall of 30 linear meters. The School has a landscaped courtyard, a sanitary block and school equipment and furniture.

Note that the Argentina Bellegarde National School was one of the 70 schools built in the ten departments and financed by the IDB and other partners within the framework of the execution of the Support Programs for the Restructuring of the Education Sector (ASS) and Support for the Implementation of the Sector Plan for Education and Educational Reform (AMOPERE) implemented by FAES on behalf of the Ministry of National Education in order to standardize school buildings while promoting better learning conditions.
