iciHaiti - USAID : US agency provides food aid to more than 60,000 households 19/10/2020 11:13:02
In Haiti, USAID introduced new techniques and practices to staple crops like rice, peas, corn, and bananas to help increase the amount of nutritious foods grown locally. In partnership with the World Food Program (WFP), "Catholic Relief Services" and "World Vision", the US Agency continues to provide a situation of severe food insecurity. To help beneficiaries overcome dependence on food aid, these programs also help entrepreneurs to achieve long-term success through microloans and savings groups, to increase their income and achieve financial autonomy.
