iciHaiti - Social : Food For The Poor helps the victims of Bel-Air
For several months, a situation of tension has reigned in the Bel-air neighborhood where the inhabitants are terrorized by armed groups. Recently, a clash between armed gangs caused a large fire which destroyed a large number of houses as well as a school.

To help displaced victims, the City of Port-au-Prince and its partners, including the Institute for Social Welfare and Research (IBESR) as well as the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, have requested help from the international NGO Food For The Poor who responded to their request by providing them with food, clothing and hygiene products to provide relief to disaster victims who lost everything.

In addition, the Town hall of Port-au-Prince, through its road service, in concert with the Civil Protection organized a series of distribution in the localities of Parc Celtic, Poste Marchand, Army of Salvation and Lakou Mouzen where 331 families received tarpaulins, sheets, blankets, clothes, utensils, glasses, rice, peas, sausages, milk, yogurts, meat and toilet paper, donated by Food For The Poor.
