iciHaiti - Football : Mikael Gabriel Cantave changes of sports nationality (official) 17/11/2018 09:00:11 The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) recalls that "The process was under way, but the normal procedures had to be followed to change the sporting nationality of a player who had played in an official competition for a first country (Canada) and that authorization arrived this week after a plea of the FHF. " From now on, Mikaël is at the disposal of the technical staff of Haiti. He is a Grenadier who can play on all fronts of the attack, even if he prefers to evoluate to the left. Learn more about Mikaël Gabriel Cantave : Born in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) on October 25, 1996 from Haitian parents, Cantave was a member of the U-17 Canadian team for which he played in the playoffs and finals of the 2013 FIFA World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. In the championship of the Concacaf U-17 he played against Jamaica (4-2), Panama (1-2) and Honduras (2-2, 4-2 shooting on goal). As the team qualified for FIFA UAE 2013, he was lined up in Canada's 4-2 loss to Argentina. He is a member of the Spanish club "Deportivo Rayo Cantabria, Spain" under contract until June 2019.
