iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : Follow-up of works on the road linking Molière to La Ferme
This Saturday, November 10, 2018, a team of journalists from the city of Petit-Goâve Guyto Mathieu (HL correspondent), Anel Joseph, Pierre and members of the Board of Communal Section (CASEC) of Les Palmes , Dugazon Emile Coordinator and Saint-Jean Réginald, went to the 10th section of Palmes to observe the progress of construction work on a section of road linking several localities : Molière, Ti savane, La Rifie, La Ferme...

This road infrastructure project of nearly one million gourdes (992,201) is financed by the Ministry of the Interior and local authorities. A first tranche of 400,000 gourdes has been disbursed for the start of work and the rest should be paid soon. It should be noted that Judge Arentz Mars, Professor and School Director, from the area, promised to collaborate financially in the construction of this road.

According to CASEC members, this project aims to improve transport and traffic conditions, facilitate trade, connect the various localities, enable residents to better sell their agricultural products in the city, and promote the endogenous development of rural areas.

We observed a great mobilization on the part of the peasants, children, young people, adults and old people participate in the work with rudimentary tools: axes, hoes, machetes etc... "We are happy to provide our assistance to the development of the community" they said at the microphone of Radio Préférence.

In addition, farmers have expressed the need for a clinic and a market in the locality of Ti Savanne and would like that the State meet these last two demands.

Note that all the members of the CASEC : Dugazon Emile, Saint-Jean Réginald, Joseph Mariline and those of Communal Section Administration (ASEC) : Pierre Zétrenne, Dominique Saint-Jean, Elène Lamartinière, Marc Bonhomme, Rose-Marie Descolines, work in perfect harmony. The synergy they demonstrate is worthy of responsible leaders and concerned about the progress of their community. These local authorities thanked the former Deputy of the city and current Director General of the Ministry of Planning, Jacques Stevenson Thimoléon and former Mayor Sandra Jules for their fruitful efforts.
