It should be recalled that an order of reference concerning the former electoral counselor accused of electoral fraud, forfeiture and unlawful enrichment was rendered by the examining magistrate Jean Wilner Morin. This fact did not prevent Yolette Mengual from spending nearly 17 months at the MHAVE Directorate. Let's recall that Yolette Mengual, then adviser to the Provisional Electoral Council, was accused of involvement in a corruption scandal during the legislative elections and the 2015-2016 presidential elections. This revocation takes place after the investigating judge Jean-Wilner Morin, in view of the conclusions of the prosecution contained in his indictment of March 5, advance in his order and after deliberation that there are sufficient and consistent charges and indices to indict and to return Yolette Mengual to the criminal court without assistance of jury to be judged for electoral fraud, forfeiture and illicit enrichment... Me Clamé-Ocnam Daméus, the Government Commissioner confirmed the secretariat of the public prosecutor had received this order last September. IH/ iciHaiti
