iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : Mysterious campaign for homosexuality
A mysterious and subtle campaign is taking place in Petit-Goâve to promote tolerance and non-discrimination towards the homosexual community "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersexed" (LGBTI)

On several walls of the city, including La Hatte, on the National Road #2, Seradòt Market, on Rue Dessalines, the rainbow flag of homosexuals was painted with the text above "No to discrimination".

More than one sees in these postings a campaign that does not say its name and whose onr ignorance who is behind, to get citizens to accept homosexuals in Haitian society and to be tolerant towards them.

Who finances this campaign which has been echoed at the national level ? Which local organization is responsible for leading it to Petit-Goâve and why Petit-Goâve is one of the cities where this campaign is run ? as many questions that remain unanswered and that arise from the inhabitants of Petit-Goâve...

Many point to international organizations and remind foreigners that homosexuality is not the priority of Haiti and that Haitians are not ready to accept this form of life in their society. Recall that the Senate even voted a homophobic bill in August 2017 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21704-haiti-flash-the-senate-passes-a-law-against-the-gay-community.html not to mention the rejection of LGBTI by most Haitians and persecutions and the many acts of violence that this community in Haiti is victim.
