iciHaiti - Tourism : 4th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Heritage Preservation Project

Tuesday in Port-au-Prince, took place the 4th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Heritage Preservation and Tourism Sector Support Project (PAST).

Dismissing Ministers Colombe Émilie Jessy Menos (Tourism and Vice-Chair of the Committee), Guyler C. Delva (Culture and Chair of the Committee), Reynold Pauyo Executive Director of the Technical Implementation Unit (UTE), Jean Michel Lapin, DG of the Ministry of Culture, Paul Gomis, Special Representative of UNESCO in Haiti, the mayors of the communes of the National Historical Park (Milot-Dondon), members of the private sector of the North including the President of the Chamber of Commerce Marc Georges and other technical executives took part in this meeting.

Several resolutions were adopted to continue the work begun in Cap-Haïtien and the Citadelle Henry Christophe such as : the stable at Choiseuil, the gardens of the Queen and King at the Palais Sans-Souci, the finishing of the works construction of a health center in Dondon and the construction of a cultural center in Milot.
