iciHaiti - Bahamas : Ambassador in Haiti transported to his country to receive care
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bahamas, Ambassador Jeffery Williams, stationed in Haiti, had a health problem this week while working at the Embassy in Port-a-Prince.

Although the Minister's statement on the Ambassador's state of health is not alarmist, the precautionary protocols have been activated and arrangements have been made for Ambassador Jeffery Williams to be airlifted to the Bahamas, where he was hospitalized, to receive care.

The Embassy of the Bahamas in Haiti temporarily disrupted, resumed its regular working hours Friday, August 3.
