These young people have demonstrated exceptional leadership, although they come from low-income families, each of whom has demonstrated a commitment to the public service and an interest in improving their local communities. This program aims to encourage civic participation, promote entrepreneurship and strengthen leadership skills between the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. During the three weeks, participants will travel to Washington DC and Portland, Maine. During their stay, they will meet with their American counterparts, live with host families and participate in community service activities. Learn more about the "Young Ambassadors" program : The Young Ambassadors program brings together high school students from 25 countries across the Americas and aims to promote mutual understanding, increase leadership skills and prepare young people to make a difference in their communities.
