And thank you to the Senate for the welcome of today." For his part the former Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe declared "Congratulations to Vanesa Lamothe Matigon (his cousin) for this distinction." "Vanessa Lamothe Matignon, Ambassador of Haiti is the first woman elected President of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors of France. Bravo !
