Haitians were arrested in Guasaule on the border between Honduras and Nicaragua by agents of the National Inter-Agency Security Force (FUSINA). They were taken to and held at the National Institute of Migration in Choluteca (South of the country) pending the decision of the authorities to return them to Haiti or allow them to cross the territory of Honduras. Recall that in recent years, Honduras has become a transit country for immigrants including Cubans, Haitians and Africans, who are fleeing their countries to try to get to the United States to find a better life ...
