iciHaiti - Literature : Success of the 24th Edition of Livres en Folie 03/06/2018 08:23:03
Friday, in the gardens of the National Haitian Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH), Max Chauvet the Director General of Nouvelliste, organizer of this event said "This year is better organized. Arrangements have been made to avoid traffic congestion and the authors can better exhibit. I am happy to see that there are all these schools that send their students to participate [...]" affirming "Livres en Folie, it is an opportunity to build the readership of tomorrow and to create the desire to write even to train the authors of tomorrow for the durability of Haitian literature across all genres [...]" concluding "I am already thinking about the next edition, to avoid the glitches of this year, because Livres en Folie must improve each year" without wanting to take stock of these two days, a real crossroads between authors and readers, which brought together 159 authors, 1,828 titles and thousands of visitors of all ages.
