This ceremony was held on the background of the opening of an exhibition "Michelet Divers" of Photos and masks of the carnival of Jacmel, had brought together members of Muséophiles Haiti SA, representatives of the Haitian University world, working in Heritage and many friends of art. Dr. Kenrick Demesvar, curator of this exhibition, which will last eight months, has announced that the future Museum, which is still waiting for 52,000 US dollars for its construction, will also bear the name of Michelet Divers considered as the father of "Jacmélitude". Learn more about Michelet Divers : Michelet Divers former departmental director of the Ministry of Culture of the Southeast is the author among others, of books on the history of carnival of Jacmel and its various characters.
