Message from Roody Metellus : Dear Fellow Citizens, "I would not leave my position at the Consulate without saying “Thank You” to the Haitian Community of Georgia. Throughout the past months you have been consistent in showing your love and support and I could not have made it without you. During my time of service as Head of Mission I had the chance to promote our Haitian Heritage and Culture and to prove to others what a great nation we are. My successor, Vice-Consul Marjorie Saint-Firmin Gouin, will continue our great work here in Atlanta and I wish her the very best of luck. As we transition, my responsibility to our great nation has opened up opportunities for me to serve in a different capacity. However, you will remain forever in my heart. I will never cease to represent you, my people, wherever I will be. The work has just begun. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. May we stay true to our motto: L’ Union fait la Force.
