Wednesday at the National Bureau of Ethnology (BNE) took place the opening of the exhibition "Wole Soyinka : Antiquities, Across, Times and Place" which highlights the similarities between Haitian and African culture, particularly that of Nigeria through the collection of Nigerian writer Wole Soyinka, Nobel Prize for literature currently in Haiti https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23616-haiti-politic-moise-decorates-of-the-national-order-the-nobel-wole-soyinka.html https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23593-haiti-literature-the-nigerian-nobel-prize-wole-soyinka-expected-in-haiti.html
This enriching intercultural dialogue took place thanks to the partnership of the BNE and Laboratorio Contemporary Arts as part of season 2 of Act II of meetings from here and elsewhere.
The exhibition is open to the general public until March 31, 2018 from Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
