The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH) welcomed the announcement of the imminent signing between the Haitian State and the UEH of a contract-plan, made by Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant, at the launch ceremony of the reconstruction of the premises of the Faculty of Sciences on Friday, January 12th https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-23258-icihaiti-reconstruction-laying-of-the-first-of-the-future-faculty-of-sciences-of-the-ueh.html

Remember that the Contract-Plan is a memorandum of understanding that establishes the conditions for collaboration between the State and the UEH on the basis of reciprocal commitments. This will enable the UEH to benefit from support from the Government for the implementation of its recovery plan. In return, the UEH will offer its services in certain areas requested by the State.

Note that the reconstruction of the premises of this entity of the UEH, which will last for 18 months (January 2018 to July 2019) is funded by "Qatar Haiti Fund" for 5.5 million US dollars, the new building of an area of 5,050 m2 will be able to accommodate 2,200 people
