iciHaiti - Politic : Presentation of joint communiqués to 6 new NGOs
Friday, December 29, Aviol Fleurant, the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, issued joint communiqués, granting the official status of Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) for development assistance, to 6 institutions operating in the country : "Faire Garden Foundation", "Société chrétienne d’Haïti" (SCH), "Action de coopération pour la renaissance et le développement d’Haïti" (ACORDEH), "Fondation honneur pour Haïti" (FONHOH), "Centre International Agapè" (CIA) and Terre des hommes (TDH - Italia).

In his remarks, Minister Fleurant extended his congratulations to those organizations that have scrupulously met the requirements of Haitian law, including the technical obligations of the Ministry's Coordination Department for NGO Activities (DCAONG). He invited the representatives of these NGOs to make every effort to serve the Haitian people through actions that will complement the priorities of the government.

For their part, the various representatives of these new NGOs briefly presented their achievements since their arrival on Haitian territory. The latter intervene in various departments of the country in the fields of education, agriculture, health and social assistance.
