iciHaiti - Politic : Prelude to the holding of the Sectoral General States
In the framework of the preliminaries of the Sectoral General States, President Moïse multiplies information meetings with key sectors of society (trade union, religion, peasant, bosses and media) before the launch of the Sectoral General States. Guichard Doré, Special Adviser to the Presidency said that after completing these meetings, a steering committee with personalities from civil society and politics will be formed for the Sectoral General States, noting that no date had been set yet.

This week, President Moïse met with members of the Association of Haitian Economists and those of the Haitian Society of History and Geography. Jovenel Moise explained the views of his administration, his concerns, his plans, his vision and the projects he intends to develop during his five-year term.

For their part, the Association of Economists and the Haitian Society of History and Geography have welcomed the approach of the Executive to engage in prior consultations with all sectors and asked the Head of State to continue to favor dialogue and implement the States General of the Nation to collect the opinions of all sectors.
