iciHaiti - NOTICE ONI : New offices for the renewal of CINs
The General Direction of the National Office of Identification (ONI) is continuing the operation of renewal of the National Identification Cards (CIN) for 2005, 2006 and 2007, throughout the country.

In several communes in the country, ONI has opened special offices where citizens can renew their cards while continuing to provide services such as registering new citizens, updating citizen data etc...

In the metropolitan area where there is higher demand https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22278-haiti-notice-beginning-of-renewal-of-expired-cins.html , the Office has installed several new office of renewals open from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4pm.

Lists of these new offices :

  • Commune Port-au-Prince : Square Sainte-Anne – Square Jérémie – Viva Rio and the Ministry of Women's Affairs (only women can make the renewal to the ministry) ;
  • Commune Delmas : CRLDI Delmas 31 ;
  • Commune Tabarre : ANational Police Academy of Haiti;.
  • Commune Carrefour : Town Hall of Dikini (Haitian Marine).

REMINDER: To renew your National Identification Cards (CIN), you must come with your old card. If you have lost it, you must come with the original of the baptistery, or the original of the baptism or an extract from the archive of the birth certificate. To change or correct information on the card, you must present an archive excerpt where this change must be made.

The ONI asks all concerned citizens to facilitate the work of the operators by respecting the order and the discipline. It takes the opportunity to remind everyone that the card renewal operation is FREE. If someone asks you for money, take information about that person and call 37 08 4087 to report it.
