iciHaiti - Training : Reconstruction of the Saint-Martin Learning Center
At the beginning of the week in Pétion-Ville, the National Institute for Vocational Training (INFP) with the Ministry of Education officially launched the Steering Committee for the reconstruction project of the Saint-Martin Learning Center (Delmas) destroyed during the January 2010 earthquake.

Maguy Durcé, the Director General of INFP explained that this project, which is supported by the Ministry's Strategic Plan, intends to reinvent the future through the vocational training of young people from this vulnerable neighborhood and other neighboring areas.

Launched with the financial support of the Caribbean Development Bank (BCD), the Steering Committee will be responsible for strengthening the integration of women in education, technical and vocational training in all sectors "We are all here to give the signal to start the activities to allow the Center of Saint-Martin to recover, more imposing, more modern and better equipped than ever [...]" declared Maguy Durcé.

This Center will be the second after the recent laying of the foundation stone of the Cayes vocational training center https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21795-haiti-les-cayes-laying-the-foundation-stone-of-the-largest-caribbean-vocational-training-center.html , will be rebuilt on an area of 7,100 m2 and will accommodate 630 students.
