iciHaiti - Diaspora : Reflection on investment support in Petit-Goâve
Saturday, at the Fort Royal Hotel in Petit-Goâve, as part of a project to support the Diaspora's investment in this commune, he Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) organized a day of reflections in partnership with the Circle of Journalists, the Haitian Vision of Human Rights (VHDH) and ACHED.

This activity brought together about 15 members of the Diaspora from the Commune and the notables of the city around investments in the field of tourism and culture.

Yolette Mengual, the Director General of MHAVE, presented the role of the ministry and its transversal character in relation to the support offered to the Diaspora concerned to participate in the sustainable development of the country. She reiterated the Ministry's commitment to work towards strengthening inter-Haitian cooperation for the effective integration of the Diaspora.

Participating in this activity, a representative of the Center of Facilitation of the Investments (CFI) explained the various advantages offered by his institution in the framework of the investment projects.

At the end of the day, the organizers of the event and members of the Diaspora promised to advocate with the local authorities to declare August 12 "Diaspora Day in Petit-Goâve".
