The Draft Law on Accessibility Standards for the Built Environment was adopted in the Council of Ministers, confirmed on Friday the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

Recall that accessibility is based on universal design principles that ensure the conception, construction, development and management of the built environment taking into account the needs and abilities of all users including those with disabilities.

Submitted to Parliament, this bill will follow the provisions of Title IV of the Act of 13 March 2012 on the integration of persons with disabilities, which deals with specific obligations to the built environment.
