iciHaiti - Security : Two Haitians arrested in DR for smuggling and stolen motorcycle 19/12/2016 09:39:42
A Haitian, identified as Alce Raynel, a 41-year-old resident of Cap-Haïtien, who was driving a white Isuzu pickup truck, registered TQ 15404, was detained after 85 packages of cigarettes Haitian "Comme il Faut" was discovered abord, he was arrested at the KM4 of the Montecristi-Dajabón road, as he was heading towards the city of Santiago, to sell his goods. Another Haitian, identified as Edmond Joseph, a 19-year-old resident of Ounaminthe, was detained after he was tempted to cross the border bridge of that city on a white CG 150 stolen motorcycle. On the other hand, a Dominican, identified as Leonardo Martínez Peña, was arrested in the southern sector of the city of Dajabón, while carrying 15 cases of 24 bottles of rum from Haiti in a red van brand Mazda.
