iciHaiti - Tourism : The Coast of Arcadins ready to receive visitors
A little more than 20 days after Hurricane Matthew, the Tourism Association of Haiti (ATH) inform all international partners and interested persons to visit our destination that "the main tourist zones ready to receive visitors are: the Metropolitan Region of Port-au-Prince / Petion-ville, the seaside region of the Coast of Arcadins, Cap-Haitien, the Kenscoff Mountains and Jacmel. 90% of tourism infrastructure were not affected and operators are ready to welcome their customers."

Tourism operators of the Coast of Arcadins, in solidarity with other regions of country affected, working hard to restore the blazon of Haiti. Despite the noted damages, the hotel establishments have kept their doors open to their customers and loyal visitors. The cleaning work is now complete.

The Coast of Arcadins in figures :

Hotels rooms more than 680;
Direct jobs more than 1,000;
Indirect jobs over 5000;
Purchasing local products / month more than 3 million gourdes.

Tourism operators of the Coast of Arcadins et the ATH reiterated their invitation to all lovers of Haiti to continue to visit and discover its historic and seaside resorts, culture, gastronomy, art and crafts; which will allow to assist sustainably the economy of the affected areas and the country.
